CHALLENGES FOR OUR GENERATION: INTERNATIONAL POVERTY AND REFUGEES Muslims Without Borders (MWB) in collaboration with Global Poverty Project (GPP) are running a one-day seminar targeting the youth of Sydney on Saturday 19th January 2013. We are very passionate about empowering youth especially in the Western suburbs of Sydney and believe there is much 'untapped potential'. Many youth do not have the knowledge surrounding international development, poverty and refugee issues to actively participate, but wish to 'make a difference'.

  He was born in Auburn but grew up in the countryside Wagga Wagga, spoken work artist Zohab Khan currently runs his very own poetry business, Zee Poetics. Zee poetics conducts workshops at high schools with the aim of instilling confidence in the next generation of young adults. Zohab was a finalist in the Australian poetry slam competition and has performed alongside talents such as Boona Mohammad, Amir Suleiman, Sarah Kay and Tyson Amir.
