The Ummah (community) is a mosaic and Youthink is a bricolage of our talents, tastes, aesthetics and diversity. It is a unique platform created by the youth for the youth.
It is an opportunity for young Australian Muslims to be heard and not herded. You and I belong to a global community; and as global citizens we believe that each and every individual has the talent and ability to change our world for the better.
We believe that the youth are the agents for creating this positive change. We believe in creating and maintaining social harmony by nurturing and empowering the youth by way of showcasing their talents and gifts to their global brothers and sisters. We believe that in order to move forward, constructive dialogue, one based on respect and informed opinion, is necessary.
The vision for Youthink Magazine is to afford young people from across young people from across the globe with an opportunity to connect with their fellow global brothers and sisters. To share experiences, passions informed opinions, interests and concerns with one another. And by sharing this information, they essentially develop intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and socially.
We envision Youthink Magazine to be the prime alternative space where the agents of positive global change can express uplifting, yet critically engaging articles regarding the multi-faceted aspects of life.
Youthink Magazine is an initiative co-founded by four young and passionate participants as part of the 'Sharing Humanity Leadership Program' run by the Lebanese Muslim Association.
